Personality: Jae usually keeps herself at a friendly disposition, though crowds and large groups of people put her off and make her feel uncomfortable. She prefers the relative quiet of the hospital most times over the company of others, and she is very picky about those she considers a friend. Though it may be difficult to edge past that somewhat tough barrier she has around herself, she is a nice person who treats her friends like family. Despite the fact she likes to keep to herself, when around others she is quite capable of speaking her mind and sharing her thoughts, whether wanted or not. When angered, she's prone to violence, and should anyone overstep a boundary with her she's likely to either hit them or control her anger just long enough to get away and scream. There are a few trust issues with her, considering she hadn't even been able to trust her own family for the past year or so, and she isn't inclined to financially support anyone, even if they are her friend.
History: It was clear at an early age that Jasmine wasn't going to be like the other girls who ran around wearing dresses and skirts. She was a bit more adventurous than that, not afraid to get a little dirty while playing with her older brother. They were close as children, though when her brother reached a mature age he was forced to go to work with his father since he would be inheriting the veterinary hospital from him. She tired of what her mother tried to teach her, silly things she found no interest in, and when she finally showed her father her interest in his line of work he gave in and agreed to train her in it. From the age of 14 to 17 she trained under her father's watchful eye, and she progressed at a decent rate according to him. She never finished her training however, a fatal accident taking both her mother's and father's lives. Jae and her brother were greatly hurt, though both old enough to take care of themselves. Under the watchful eye of her father‘s assistant, Jae continued to help at her father's hospital, but after the accident her brother fell into drinking and gambling to forget his despair. What little money she made he wasted away on drinks and games, even what she decided to hide around the house. After a time, she finally grew tired of this and decided to leave the home she loved so much in search of a new life for herself, one where she didn't have to support her brother's problems or deal with the pitying glances given to her by the rest of those living in her home town.
