Welcome stranger. Do you have a moment for a story? A story of a time before the great disaster? Oh you do... Well then please do take a seat, it is not much but in the current ages it is one of the best seats in the house... The story is told by a man who was alive before even your greatest ancestors... Many consider him a monster but many others consider him a hero... Oh you have to leave? Oh yes I understand, might I be able to tempt you into buying some lucky charms? No... Shame, well do stop by again.
Oh it seems I have a new customer... A stranger... Welcome to the world that one has never seen before. After a great disaster the world as we know it was shot back into the old times. Those that could be compared and even rivaled to European Feudal times. There however is one devilish detail that is far from similar. While they hid in the shadows for many years after the great cataclysm they felt safe enough to emerge from their hiding places.
However it was not quite safe. After many fights, many battles, it seemed the the humans were not as quite as mighty as they once had been. While they still have their hatred for the Darklings, they do not have the power to do anything. The three main houses are ran by Darklings. While humans remain nothing to special, however, there are a few Darklings who have taken to humans, much like Rhys himself.
Oh I apologize, it seems I forgotten to tell you exactly what a Darkling is, and what has happened since that fateful day almost more then 10,000 years ago. Darklings are vampiric creatures, one thing however is they are not undead. They do have their hatred for the sun but that is because they are sensitive to the sunlight. They generally hate garlic, but that is because their sense of smell is so strong. They can, however, tolerate all other stereotypes as much a human can.
Well it seems I have talked for much to long. I hope I have at least warned you and perhaps piqued your interest, but if not make sure you tell anyone you know might be interested. We are friendly folk here. We are not your average vampire site.
